Antoinette Guhl was elected in 2014 as the Deputy Mayor of Paris responsible for social enterprise, social innovation and the circular economy.
Previously, Antoinette was a consultant at Equinoxe Conseil, a company working on sustainable development projects in the Île-de-France region, and was involved in various other projects linking ecology and the economy. She had a particular involvement in microfinance and fair trade in Africa, including in rural areas in Mali, Senegal and Benin. In 2010, she helped set up Rejoué, (which provides employment to vulnerable people) and co-directed the association from 2012.
